“My wife, a great visionary painter and ceramist, unfortunately left us yesterday afternoon of heart failure. Her
work remains as our consolation and inspiration.
Her origins were from North California.
She had two major exhibitions, one at the Hellenic American Union in 2001
and another with other projects in Thessaloniki.
She was well known in Paris in surrealist circles, in California and here
in Greece with many publications in various magazines.
First published in the 1963 magazine Pali and in a book with French texts: Terre de
Diamant, which was republished in Greek by Mandragon and in English in San
Francisco. She was a life-long friend with the couple André and Elisa Breton to
whom she introduced me in 1954.”
